This series of images attempts to capture the lifestyle of a specific group of young adults in Lima. The images tread a fine line between the limits of documentary objectivity and fashion production. Hence, creating a certain borderline between the cosmetic stylization of everyday life, and the specific perspective of having a background in commercial and fashion photography.
The series poses the following question: are these images objective and documentary? Which in turn is intricately related to the desire to perform this group operates under. These young adults appear to be in a continuous performance, they seem to be part of a play or stage, in which it´s extremely difficult to distinguish between reality and fiction.
