Seeking to get closer geologically and to move away from the photographic hyperrealism; Rodrigo invites us to approach the textures and reliefs in constant mutation, leaving aside what is descriptive in order to allow materials to be "writers" of their own process of transformation. This is accomplished by showing in the foreground the fractures and reorganization that time has exerted on its morphology.
The distance with which we contemplate the landscape offers a false perspective. It induces us to think about its immutable character, but once we approach the elements that compose it we can perceive its relation with the environment and its capacity to reconfigure itself, to evolve non-stop towards new orders.
